Last weekend Janette, Stephanie and I met my Dad, who was in St. George playing pickle ball for the senior Olympics, at Zions National Park. I really wanted my Dad to see the top of Angel’s Landing, which is a beautiful hike about 5 miles long with spectacular views of the valley. So I put his childhood training to use and constantly berated and peer pressured him to the top. He made it and did not have a heart attack! There were a few times I wondered if he was going to die but I would just yell at him some more and he would keep going. We actually had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.
